What Is It about this Game that Makes It so Good - TERA
TERA is a beautiful action based MMORPG with a plethora of Races and Classes to choose between, where you can explore a open world, by traveling through the sky, with a huge selection of flying mounts. Or party up and tackle huge monsters, and dungeons. I would recommend playing with friends if you are looking for a better experience. However, what is it about this game that makes it so good? Breaking this to different aspects :
Customization:
Peoples go crazy on Character customization of games like Black Desert, ignorantly praising it, despite the fact players can only customize the Face, aka 20% of the body, while the rest 80% is eternally cursed with hobo/peasant looking gears, until they drop 30$+ for a character bound outfit.
Monetization:
Everything can be obtained in game, no trace of pay walls or P2W, and it's respectable that this still hold true for a F2P game, that passed it 6th year.
PvP:
Equalized, skill and reaction based, with large influence of strategy on large scale Battleground like Corsair Stronghold (20v20). The only comparable MMO that offer similar joy and fairness in PvP, is BnS Arena.
Combat:
Unrivaled true action combat, played Dragon Nest, C9, Vindictus, BnS, and Black Desert, and i objectively believe Tera's combat is superior to all those games, as each one of them has some flawed design.
For Example Bdo has, RNG on hits, RNG on CC, and Aim-Assistance on both melee and range attacks.
PvE:
Played countless MMO in the market, every single one worth it title, with the exception of GW-2 and FF14, and very confident to say that Tera has The best PvE : Skill based Dungeon, Challenging difficulty, and Balanced mechanics, all working together for that sense of accomplishment after a successful run, this is specially true at higher tier dungeons, the most comparable example to the experience will be a Dark Soul Boss fight.
